Welcome to Murton Cricket Club, a warm and welcoming community that caters to all ages and abilities. As a family-friendly and inclusive club, we offer a range of playing and volunteering opportunities for our members. Whether you are an experienced cricketer or new to the game, we have something for everyone.

At Murton CC, we currently have seven teams, providing ample opportunities for our members to showcase their skills on the field. Our senior teams consist of the 1st Team, 2nd Team, and 3rd Team, all of which compete in the highly regarded Durham & North East Cricket League. Join us in the thrilling experience of competitive cricket, where you can show off your talent and contribute to the success of our teams.

Our junior section is an integral part of our club, catering to the development of future cricket stars. With three teams catering to the Under 9, Under 11, and Under 13 age groups, our young players get the opportunity to participate in the Durham Cricket board Junior Cricket League, South East Division. We firmly believe in nurturing talent at a young age and providing our juniors with a supportive environment to grow and flourish.

Regardless of age, gender, or skill level, our doors are open to all who wish to play or volunteer. We strongly encourage girls and boys aged 4 to 18 to join us and explore the wonderful world of cricket. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping young players learn the fundamentals of the game while instilling a love for cricket that will last a lifetime.
