Located in the heart of Newbury, our home ground is situated on the picturesque Northcroft Playing Fields. This idyllic setting, with the river on one side and the church spire in the background, creates a truly special atmosphere to play cricket. In the evenings, the enchanting light that filters through from the setting sun over Northcroft Leisure Centre bathes the outfield, adding to the beauty of the surroundings.

At Newbury Cricket Club, we value our traditions and strive to maintain a balance between competitive cricket and a friendly atmosphere. We believe in upholding the traditional values of the game, such as fair play and team spirit, while also providing our players with ample opportunities to excel and succeed. Our club is proud to have three Thames Valley Cricket League sides and an occasional Sunday eleven, offering plenty of competitive action for our members. Additionally, we have a growing junior section that caters to children of all ages, starting from Under 9. Our junior players are coached by level two ECB qualified coaches and have access to winter indoor nets, as well as summer nets and training sessions at our very own Northcroft cricket ground.
