Welcome to Newick Cricket Club, a friendly, sociable, and inclusive club that has been a part of the community since its founding in 1884. With a rich history and a passion for the sport, we invite you to join us and become a part of our cricketing family.

Since our humble beginnings, Newick Cricket Club has grown and flourished. Today, we boast a membership of over 200 individuals who share a love for cricket. Our club caters to players of all levels, whether you’re a seasoned cricketer or just starting out. We pride ourselves on being able to find a game for everyone who joins us.

We have two fantastic grounds that provide the perfect setting for cricket matches. Our main ground is located in the heart of Newick and features a fully-stocked bar, excellent changing facilities, and two outdoor nets. The picturesque Temple Grove serves as our second ground, allowing us to expand our cricketing opportunities.

Throughout the year, we have a vibrant schedule of matches and events that create a sense of camaraderie and excitement. Our President’s Day and the Piers Morgan Family Match are highly anticipated events that bring together cricket enthusiasts from all walks of life. These occasions have even witnessed the presence of various international cricketers, delighting the crowds with their exceptional skills.

At Newick Cricket Club, we understand the importance of nurturing young talent. That’s why we offer coaching for over 100 youngsters, providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills and grow as cricketers. In addition, we have three Junior age group teams that compete in matches and tournaments, fostering a love for the sport from an early age.
