Profile
Welcome to Northop Hall CC
Welcome to Northop Hall Cricket Club, located in the picturesque village of Northop Hall in Flintshire, North East Wales. Steeped in history, Northop Hall was once a stop on the original coaching route from Chester to Holyhead, when the mail service to Ireland was established in the 1700s.
Our senior cricket team competes in the prestigious Liverpool & District Cricket Competition (L&DCC), which is recognized as one of the ECB Premier Leagues. The L&DCC encompasses clubs from Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and North Wales. As a member of this esteemed league, Northop Hall Cricket Club is at the forefront of competitive cricket in the region.
We take great pride in our youth policy and program, providing coaching for young cricketers of both genders throughout the year. Our dedicated coaches not only develop their skills but also foster a love for the game. During the cricket season, our youth teams participate in both the North East Wales competitions and those provided by the L&DCC. This includes age groups under 9, 11, 13, and 15, as well as knockout competitions for older players up to under 21 years of age. Our talented youngsters also have the opportunity to play representative games for both North East Wales and the L&DCC, taking on county and league sides from across the region.
Northop Hall Cricket Club is proud to be ClubMark accredited, ensuring that membership is open to all individuals with an interest in the game of cricket. Whether you are passionate about playing, coaching, officiating, assisting in the running of the club, or simply enjoying the sport as a spectator, there is a place for you at our club.
