Welcome to Old Hill CC
Welcome to Old Hill CC, a progressive cricket club that is deeply rooted in our community. We take pride in our inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, and we extend open arms to all who wish to be a part of our club, whether as players or social members. If you have any queries or would like to get in touch, please feel free to contact us at mail@oldhillcc.co.uk.
With a history dating back to 1884, Old Hill CC has been a significant presence in the cricketing world for well over a century. We have called the picturesque Haden Hill ground our home since our inception, and it holds a special place in our hearts.
Our club boasts an illustrious past, having emerged as winners of the esteemed National Club Cricket Championship on four occasions, as well as clinching the Birmingham League title an impressive five times. These achievements reflect our dedication to excellence and our commitment to fostering a competitive spirit among our players.
Presently, Old Hill CC has three teams participating in the Worcestershire County League. We are always eager to expand our ranks and invite individuals of all skill levels and experiences to join our cricketing family. Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the game, we offer a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages growth and development.
Furthermore, we take great pride in our thriving Junior Section, where we run the All-Stars Cricket program alongside age group teams competing in local competitions. Our efforts have been recognized through the attainment of the prestigious ‘Club Mark’ status, which serves as a testament to our dedication in providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children to learn and truly fall in love with the sport.
Old Hill CC is more than just a cricket club; we are a tight-knit community that celebrates the joy and camaraderie that cricket brings. Join us at Haden Hill, and together, let’s create memories that will last a lifetime.
