Welcome to Old Merchant Taylors Cricket Club (OMTCC), a friendly and sociable club nestled within the picturesque grounds of Merchant Taylors’ School. Located just 30 minutes away from bustling Central London, we offer the perfect escape for cricket enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.

Recently relocated from our previous home at Durrants, our new location within the school’s grounds has brought about exciting changes for the club. We now have the privilege of playing on first-class standard wickets, meticulously curated by our esteemed head groundsman, Richard Ayling, and his dedicated support team. This upgrade ensures that members can enjoy a top-notch cricketing experience.

OMTCC has experienced a remarkable resurgence in recent years, attracting a surge in membership numbers. As a result, we proudly field four competitive Saturday league teams in the highly regarded Thames Valley League. We also have a fifth Saturday friendly team, providing a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for those who prefer a less intense cricketing experience.

In addition, we have a Sunday side that competes in the Chess Valley League. When not engaged in league fixtures, this team participates in friendly matches, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Furthermore, we offer an exciting lineup of midweek T20 games throughout the season. These matches, played against local teams such as the Trumpers and Longstops, provide an opportunity for members to showcase their skills in shorter, action-packed encounters.
