Welcome to Orrell Red Triangle CC

Welcome to Orrell Red Triangle Cricket Club, a friendly and inclusive community cricket club located in the northwest of England. With a rich history and a strong presence in the premier cricket competition, we offer both senior and junior teams for players of all ages and skill levels.

Our senior section is highly competitive and boasts five teams in the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition, with four of them playing in their respective premier leagues. Our First Team competes in the highest standard of club cricket and also participates in ECB national competitions, showcasing our talent on a national level. The Second Team maintains its position in the top level of second XI cricket, traveling across the North West to take on formidable opponents. With approximately 100 competitive games scheduled for 2022, our senior teams provide numerous opportunities for players to showcase their skills on the field.

Our junior section is a leading example for other clubs in the area, with ten teams across six age groups. Sponsored by Greenthumb Lawn Treatment Services, our junior teams have consistently performed well in competitions, earning a respected reputation. With close to 100 junior players registered in 2022, our club continues to provide a nurturing environment for young cricketers to develop their skills and passion for the game. Our All-Stars scheme, promoted by the ECB, aims to introduce children aged 5-8 to the world of cricket in a fun and accessible way. This initiative has experienced great success over the past two years, attracting more children and parents to participate in our Tuesday evening sessions.
