Welcome to Pentyrch Cricket Club, a family-focused club that has been playing cricket since 1883. Located in the charming village of Pentyrch, just a short 10-minute drive from Cardiff, our club offers a picturesque ground at Parc Y Dwrlyn Fields.

At Pentyrch CCA, our vision is to be recognized as a leading amateur cricket club in South Wales. We strive to provide high-quality playing facilities and coaching to talented cricketers from the local community. Over the years, Pentyrch CCA has grown from its humble beginnings. In fact, in the last 20 years, we have achieved remarkable success. We climbed through the leagues and clinched the championship in our very first attempt in 2001. Our dedication to improvement led us to make significant enhancements to our ground at Parc y Dwrlyn, ensuring it meets the strict regulations of the league. Furthermore, our clubhouse has been extended multiple times to accommodate the needs of our growing community.

In recognition of our commitment to excellence, in 1993 our cricket square was chosen to host a Sunday League game between Glamorgan and Northamptonshire. This milestone marked a true highlight for our club and further motivated us to continue striving for greatness.

Our growth extends beyond the senior team, as we have established a thriving juniors section. We offer All Stars and Dynamos cricket programs, catering to young cricketers of all skill levels. Additionally, we have teams at all age groups, allowing our juniors to develop their talent and reach their full potential. Our commitment to inclusivity is evident through our established Women and Girls section, welcoming and empowering female cricketers of all ages.
