Welcome to Plumtree Cricket Club, a warm and friendly club that welcomes cricketers of all ages, genders, and talents. Situated just 3 miles from West Bridgford in the scenic South Nottinghamshire countryside, our club has a rich history dating back to its foundation in 1815, making it one of the oldest clubs in England.
Plumtree Cricket Club boasts an inclusive environment where everyone is encouraged to participate and enjoy the game. With four men’s teams, a strong women’s team, and junior teams ranging from Under-10 to Under-19 for both boys and girls, there are plenty of opportunities for players of all levels to get involved.
Our 1st XI is a prestigious member of the Nottinghamshire Premier League, showcasing the high standard of cricket played at Plumtree. As a testament to our commitment to excellence, we are also ECB Clubmark registered, ensuring that our club adheres to the highest standards of governance and development.
What sets Plumtree Cricket Club apart is our close relationship with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. We are proud to be the only patron club associated with Nottinghamshire, further highlighting our reputation and the talent that emerges from our club. Over the years, Plumtree has nurtured and produced several First-class cricketers, including Hassan Azad (Leicestershire), David Bedingham (Durham), Matt Milnes (Kent), and Oliver Soames (Hampshire). This is a testament to the dedication and opportunities available at our club for aspiring cricketers.
