Welcome to Potten End CC
Welcome to Potten End Cricket Club (PECC), a traditional village club nestled between the charming towns of Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. With official club records dating back to 1926, there is a rich history of cricket in our community, with references to Potten End cricket even as far back as the 1890s.
As we enter the year 2020, we are proud to announce that PECC will be fielding two teams in the highly competitive Herts Saracens League on Saturdays. Our first XI will be battling it out in Division 6B, while our second team will be showcasing their talents in regional Division A West. The league fixtures and results will be meticulously managed and recorded on our dedicated play-cricket site, which can be easily accessed by visiting www.pottenendcc.org.uk.
At PECC, we believe in fostering a love for cricket from a young age, which is why we have nurtured a thriving colts section within our club. We have teams at various age levels, including the U9, U10, U12, U13, and U15 categories, where young talents are given the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in the sport. Our dedicated coaches work tirelessly to ensure that our colts receive the guidance and support they need to blossom into skilled and confident cricketers.
But Potten End Cricket Club is more than just a place to play cricket. It is a close-knit community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for the sport. Whether you are a seasoned player looking for a new club, a budding talent eager to develop your skills, or simply someone who enjoys watching and supporting cricket, we welcome you with open arms to be a part of our club.
To stay updated with all the latest news, fixtures, match results, and events happening at PECC, be sure to visit our website at www.pottenendcc.org.uk. Join us in celebrating the heritage and camaraderie of cricket as we continue to make our mark in the Herts Saracens League and inspire the next generation of cricketers in Potten End.
