Welcome to Potterne Cricket Club!
Potterne Cricket Club, located in the heart of Wiltshire, has been a pillar of the community since its establishment in 1936. With a longstanding history, we take pride in our reputation as a friendly and sociable cricket club.
At Potterne Cricket Club, we cater to players of all skill levels and ages. We boast 4 Senior Saturday XI teams, with our 1st and 2nd XI competing in Premier One and WEPL Wiltshire of the West of England Premier League. Our 3rd and 4th XI teams participate in the Wiltshire Cricket League, offering opportunities for players to showcase their talent at various levels.
Our commitment to youth development is evident through our thriving Youth Section. We have teams at U9, U11, U13, U15, and U19 levels, providing youngsters with a platform to learn and play the sport they love. Additionally, we have dedicated Girls teams and a Ladies Team, empowering female players and promoting gender equality in the game.
At Potterne Cricket Club, the safety and well-being of our members is of utmost importance. All our coaching staff have undergone CRB checks, ensuring a safe environment for all players. Moreover, our club holds the prestigious ‘ECB Clubmark’ award, a testament to our commitment to maintaining high standards in child-friendly and effective cricket coaching.
We are proud to be recognized as one of the 18 ECB Focus Clubs in the County. This acknowledgement reflects our dedication to partnering with the Cricket Board in delivering excellence in coaching and providing ample opportunities for junior cricketers to flourish.
