Welcome to Rye Cricket Club!

Rye CC is a thriving and accomplished cricket club situated in the beautiful southeastern corner of Sussex. We are proud to compete in the prestigious Sussex Cricket League, with our First XI currently playing in Division 3, our Second XI in Division 7, and our 3rd XI in Division 12.

At Rye CC, we welcome players of all abilities and ages. Our winter nets kick off in January each year, providing a fantastic opportunity for players to develop their skills and stay in shape during the off-season. During the summer months, we hold training nights on Wednesday and Friday evenings, ensuring that our players have ample opportunities to practice and sharpen their cricketing prowess.

One of the things that set Rye CC apart is our exceptional junior program. We take immense pride in nurturing young talent, with the majority of our current first eleven having progressed through our junior teams. Our club currently runs multiple junior sides that participate in the esteemed Ashford and District cricket league.

For our junior players, we offer comprehensive coaching sessions throughout the year. Starting from the age of 8, our winter coaching program provides valuable skills development opportunities for our young cricketers. During the summer months, training sessions are held on a Friday evening for our All Stars and Cricket Dynamos, on Wednesday evenings for Hardball Practice from 6-8pm, and on Tuesday evenings for our Girls Section from 6-8pm. All of these sessions take place at our state-of-the-art cricket salts, ensuring that our junior players have access to top-notch facilities.
