Established in 1883, Sanderstead CC has a rich history in cricket. Our first recorded game took place at the beautiful Old Saw Mill in 1926, setting the stage for years of cricketing excellence.

At present, we have four Saturday teams that compete in the prestigious Surrey Championship, ensuring a high standard of play. Additionally, we organize friendly fixtures for our fifth XI on Saturdays, as well as traditional friendly matches on Sundays. We also have a development side that offers opportunities for players to grow and improve. Regardless of your age or skill level, we welcome all cricket enthusiasts to become part of our team.

Our dedication to nurturing young talent is evident through our vibrant juniors section. Here, children from U6 to U15 can participate in training, coaching, and league fixtures throughout the season. We believe in supporting our colts, and those aged U13 and above are encouraged to transition into adult cricket. Our U21 team's championship titles in the Surrey Development League in both 2014 and 2015 are testament to our commitment to developing our young players.

Even if you're not a player, we extend a warm welcome to social members and visitors at the Old Saw Mill. Come and join us at the 5 o'clock club on Saturdays, where you can enjoy the last few hours of play with a refreshing cold beer in hand.
