Welcome to the Scholes Cricket Club website! We are delighted to have you here and we cannot wait to tell you all about our amazing club.

Our senior teams are members of the prestigious Huddersfield Cricket League Premiership and Alliance. These teams represent the pinnacle of our club and showcase the incredible talent and dedication of our players. We are proud to be part of such a competitive league and we strive to uphold our reputation as a strong and formidable force.

In addition to our senior teams, we also have a Sunday Team that competes in the Huddersfield Cricket League Sunday Section. This team provides an opportunity for players of all abilities to come together and enjoy the game in a more relaxed and friendly environment.

At Scholes Cricket Club, we believe in nurturing young talent and developing the future stars of the sport. That’s why we run junior teams at various age groups, including under 9, under 11, under 13, under 15, and under 17. We are dedicated to providing our junior players with the best coaching and opportunities to excel in the sport they love.

For our littlest cricket enthusiasts, we also offer All Stars sessions for children aged five to eight. These sessions are designed to introduce young children to the basics of cricket in a fun and interactive way. Practice for all our junior teams and All Stars sessions takes place on Friday evenings from mid-April onwards.

But that’s not all – we also have two additional teams that add to the vibrant and diverse community of Scholes Cricket Club. The Scholes Chapelgaters play in the Huddersfield Evening League and welcome anyone who is interested to contact the club for more information. Similarly, our women’s team, Scholes Shenanigans, compete in both the soft and hard ball game, providing an inclusive and empowering playing experience for women of all skill levels.
