Established in 1977, Southowram Cricket Club has grown into a thriving village cricket community that warmly welcomes players and supporters of all ages and abilities. We currently have two teams that compete in the prestigious ENCO Halifax Cricket League, offering opportunities for players of varying skill levels to participate in competitive matches.
Our club ground is nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Ashday Lane in Southowram, providing a scenic and idyllic location for cricket matches. It is the perfect place to escape to on those long, hot summer days and enjoy the thrill of the game.
In addition to our excellent cricket facilities, we also have a recently refurbished bar that serves Molson Coors beers at competitive prices. Southowram Cricket Club is more than just a sporting venue – it is a place to unwind, socialize, and enjoy great company with fellow cricket enthusiasts.
