Welcome to Southport & Birkdale Cricket Club! We are a friendly, sociable and inclusive club that has been a part of the cricket community since 1902. If you have any questions or if you’re interested in joining our club, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us today.

The Southport and Birkdale cricket clubs merged in 1902 and joined the Liverpool Cricket Competition in 1919. Since then, all three of our senior teams have been competing in this prestigious league. We have a rich history and a strong presence in the cricket world.

One of our proudest features is our exceptional facilities. Trafalgar Road, our home ground, is renowned for its top-class amenities. In fact, it is a regular venue for Lancashire’s 1st and 2nd teams. We take great pride in providing our members and guests with an excellent cricketing experience.

At S&B, cricket is not the only sport we specialize in. We have a range of other sports and facilities available for our members to enjoy. Whether you are interested in tennis, squash, football, or simply want to relax in our beautiful clubhouse, we have something for everyone.
