Originally established in 1847 as St Helens Recs Cricket Club, we adopted the new name of St Helens Town Cricket Club in 2012, marking a new chapter in our rich history. As a longstanding member of the Liverpool & District Cricket Competition, our 1st XI currently competes in the prestigious First Division, having been crowned Second Division Champions in 2022. Our home games are hosted at the outstanding Ruskin Drive Sports Village, providing a picturesque and welcoming environment for both players and spectators.

At our club, we embrace the importance of nurturing the future talent of cricket. We currently run two Junior age teams, catering to under 9s and under 11s, in the Wigan & District Junior League. We are actively seeking new players of all ages to join our Junior teams, where they will receive expert coaching to develop their skills and passion for the game. Junior training sessions take place every Wednesday from 7-8pm, providing a dedicated space for young cricketers to learn, grow, and have fun. Additionally, we proudly offer the ECB All Stars initiative for 5-8 year olds and Dynamos Cricket for 8-11 year olds, designed to introduce children to the joys of cricket through dynamic and inclusive coaching sessions.
