Welcome to Staxton Cricket Club, a vibrant and community-focused village cricket club located just 8 miles outside of the picturesque town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire. With a rich history dating back to its founding in 1846, Staxton CC is a beloved institution in the local area.

Our club boasts a strong presence in the competitive cricket scene, with two open age teams currently participating in the Scarborough Beckett League. Our premier team showcases their skills in Division 4, while our second team competes in the Premier League. In addition, we are proud to have an open age team representing us in the Andy Hire Scarborough And District Evening League's Division A. These teams provide an excellent platform for players of all abilities to develop their skills, improve their technique, and forge lasting friendships.

One of our core principles at Staxton CC is inclusivity, and we welcome individuals of all skill levels and ages to join our cricketing family. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the sport, our club offers a supportive and nurturing environment where you can thrive and enjoy the game you love.

As part of our commitment to promoting the sport among the younger generation, we are delighted to host All Stars Cricket for children aged 5 to 8 years old and Dynamos Cricket for children aged 8 to 11 years old from May to June. These programs provide an exciting introduction to cricket, focusing on fun and skill development under the guidance of our qualified coaches.
