Welcome to Trentside Cricket Club, formerly known as Burton Working Men’s Cricket Club. Established in 1948, our club has a rich history and a strong sense of community. In 1981, we adopted our current name and have been growing ever since. At Trentside, we pride ourselves on being a friendly, sociable, and inclusive club where everyone is welcome.

Located in Branston, Burton Upon Trent, Trentside Cricket Club is a vibrant and diverse community. We boast two competitive adult sides that participate in the highly regarded Derbyshire County Cricket League. Our teams compete in Divisions 3 South and 5 South, showcasing the skills and talent of our players.

In addition to our adult teams, we have a Sunday Social team that engages in friendly matches against local sides. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the sport in a more relaxed environment, while still showcasing our club’s camaraderie and competitive spirit. We also have a Sunday Development team, giving players the chance to work on their skills and gain more playing experience.

Our junior section is the heart of our club, nurturing young talent and instilling a love for the sport at an early age. We offer opportunities to play Kwik Cricket for both boys and girls, as well as age-specific teams for under 11, 13, 15, and 17s. It’s a wonderful way for children to develop their skills, build friendships, and be part of a supportive community.
