Welcome to Usk Cricket Club!

Located in the picturesque Monmouthshire countryside, Usk CC is a friendly and ambitious cricket club that is accredited by the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board). Our club has gained a reputation as one of the most well-known and successful clubs in South Wales.

Our facilities are top-notch, with a newly renovated and extended club house for players and spectators to enjoy. We are also proud to offer brand new triple-lane fully enclosed nets, featuring the ECB approved DSI-PRO Vision System. These nets provide our players with the perfect practice environment to improve their skills.

Our cricket ground is considered one of the best in Wales, and we are privileged to host a number of representative matches throughout the summer. In fact, we recently had the honor of hosting the 2023 cricket Wales Welsh cup final.

For the upcoming 2024 cricket season, our 1st XI team will be competing in the South Wales Premier Division 1, showcasing our commitment to excellence. Our 2nd XI will be playing in division 4 of the SEWCL (South East Wales Cricket League), and our 3rd XI will be competing in division 10 of the SEWCL. In addition, we have a friendly team for those who prefer a more relaxed and sociable game.

At Usk CC, we believe in fostering the passion for cricket from a young age. That’s why we run junior teams catering to boys and girls of various age groups. From All Stars (ages 5-8) to Dynamos (ages 8-11) and the U11’s, U13’s, U15’s, U17’s, and U19’s, we have a place for all young cricketers to grow and develop their skills. Our dedicated and qualified coaches ensure that each player receives tailored training sessions to help them reach their full potential.

But we’re not just looking for players. We welcome members of all ages who are interested in coaching or helping with the running of the club. We believe that teamwork is essential both on and off the field, and we value the contributions of our entire community.

In addition to cricket, we have an active social section that hosts events throughout the season. It’s a great way to connect with fellow cricket enthusiasts and enjoy some off-the-field camaraderie.
