As we bid farewell to autumn and eagerly await the next cricket season, our grounds at Ventnor C.C. are in pristine condition. The pitch is perfect and the outfield neatly maintained, a testament to the dedication of our ground staff. With the start of the new year, we are brimming with anticipation for what lies ahead.

In the previous year, VCC experienced immense success both on and off the field. Our Seniors and Juniors Presentations were a resounding success, showcasing the talents of our young cricketers who have excelled in their performances. We congratulate our 2nd XI for their well-deserved promotion in the Hampshire League. These achievements would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication and professionalism of our volunteers and managers, who tirelessly contribute to the development of our players.

While we eagerly anticipate the upcoming season, we also have exciting Steephill events lined up during the winter months. These events will provide an excellent opportunity for our members to engage with the cricketing community and continue honing their skills.

Like many others, we face financial challenges, and our club is constantly seeking ways to increase income to sustain our operations. We are immensely grateful to everyone involved in keeping our club running week after week, especially our loyal volunteers who play a pivotal role in our success.

For over a decade, Ventnor Cricket Club has grown in strength and stature, emerging as the most successful cricket club on the Isle of Wight. We showcase our skills in the local leagues and also compete for top honours in the prestigious Southern Premier League. Our commitment to advancing cricket extends beyond the field, as we offer the island's cricketing community access to a state-of-the-art three-lane cricket center. Our thriving junior section serves as a nurturing ground for young cricketers, with many aspiring to follow in the footsteps of former Ventnorians who have made their mark in the professional cricketing world.
