Welcome to Werrington Cricket Club, a leading Community Cricket Club that takes pride in its achievements and commitment to the sport. Over the years, we have emerged as a force to be reckoned with, securing several prestigious titles and establishing ourselves as one of Cornwall’s premier cricket clubs.

2012, 2013, 2015, and 2018 saw us crowned Cornwall Premier Division Champions, a testament to our skill, dedication, and teamwork. Moreover, our success extended beyond league matches, as we emerged victorious in the Premier 50/50 Cup, Hawkey Cup, and Edwards Cup in 2013. The years 2017, 2018, and 2022 also witnessed us lifting the Hawkey Cup, further solidifying our dominance in the region.

Recognizing our unwavering commitment to cricket, the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has designated us as a Focus Club. This prestigious status highlights our dedication to the development, promotion, and growth of the sport, both within our club and the wider community.

At Werrington Cricket Club, we boast four formidable Saturday teams that compete in the Cornwall Cricket League. With each team comprising talented individuals who bring their own unique skills and flair, we consistently strive for excellence in every match we play.

To ensure the continuous improvement and development of our players, we organize regular training sessions throughout the cricket season. Our qualified and experienced coaches oversee these sessions, honing our players’ skills and imparting invaluable knowledge.

Our thriving Youth setup is another essential aspect of our club. We believe in fostering a love for cricket from an early age, and our youth teams actively participate in local Youth Leagues. On Friday evenings throughout the summer, we host Youth training sessions open to all aspiring young cricketers who wish to improve their game and have fun in a supportive environment.
