Welcome to Wickersley Old Village Cricket Club, a thriving cricket community located in the heart of Wickersley. We are proud to offer a wide range of cricket opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

For those seeking top-level competition, our senior teams participate in the Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League. With three teams competing in the Championship, Division 1, and Division 6, we provide a platform for players to showcase their skills and challenge themselves against strong opposition.

Our Women’s section, known as The Vixens, is a force to be reckoned with. With three teams competing in the Yorkshire Cricket Premier League, our athletes excel in both Super 8s Hardball and Division 2 and Division 3 South Softball formats. Whether you are an experienced player or just starting out, our Women’s section offers a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.

At Wickersley Old Village Cricket Club, we understand the importance of nurturing young talent. That is why we have dedicated junior teams in the Ben Jessop Junior Cricket League, catering to age groups ranging from under 9s to under 18s. Our aim is to provide a fun and enjoyable experience for our young cricketers, while also helping them develop their skills and passion for the game. Additionally, our junior vixens team is specifically designed for young girls who are eager to explore the world of cricket.

Our club also places a strong emphasis on grassroots development. Our All Stars programme, open to children of all abilities aged between 5 and 8, introduces the fundamentals of cricket through fun and interactive sessions led by our experienced coaches. Similarly, Dynamo’s cricket provides a fantastic opportunity for children aged 8 to 11 to enhance their skills and knowledge of the game in a supportive and encouraging environment.
