Welcome to Widnes Cricket Club, a friendly and sociable club that welcomes players of all ages, genders, and abilities. With a history dating back to 1865, we take pride in being an all-inclusive club that offers opportunities for everyone to enjoy the sport.

Our club boasts two men's Saturday senior teams, one men's Sunday senior team, and junior teams for younger players. In 2022, we also introduced a women's team, ensuring that cricket at Widnes CC truly caters to all ages, genders, and abilities. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, you'll find a place here at our club.

As an ECB Clubmark club, we actively participate in the latest initiatives, such as the All Stars program for children aged 5-8 years. With this program, children can join our club as young as 5 years old and continue playing until they retire. We believe in nurturing young talent and providing a supportive environment for them to develop their skills.

Junior cricket training takes place primarily on Friday evenings, while senior training sessions are held on Thursday nights from 5.30pm. We always welcome new players, and our experienced coaches can accommodate players of any ability. Our first XI team competes in the Cheshire County League Premier Division, while our second XI team competes in division 1. Additionally, our third XI team participates in the league structure on Sundays.
