With a proud history dating back to our founding in 1848, Wigan Cricket Club has established itself as a prominent figure in club cricket in Lancashire. In fact, we were one of the 13 clubs instrumental in establishing the Lancashire County Cricket Club in 1864. Our members also played a pivotal role in founding Wigan Football Club, which is now known as Wigan Warriors, as a way to stay active during the winter months by participating in rugby.

Our impressive ground at Bull Hey, located in the heart of the town centre, serves as our home base. It provides a state-of-the-art facility for our teams to practice and compete. We field three senior sides in the highly competitive Liverpool and District Cricket Competition, offering players of varying skill levels the opportunity to showcase their talent. Additionally, our juniors partake in the Wigan and District Cricket League, ensuring that cricket lovers of all ages and abilities can actively participate.
