Welcome to Woodford Cricket Club, a warm and inclusive community for cricket enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the sport, we invite you to join our friendly club and experience the joy of cricket with us.

Located in Woodford, North East Cheshire/South Manchester, our club is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and commitment to nurturing young talent. We have a range of teams catering to different skill levels. In 2024, our 1st XI will be competing in the prestigious Cheshire Cricket League Division 1, showcasing the talent and dedication of our senior players. The 2nd XI, following a successful promotion in 2023, will be playing in Division A of the Cheshire Cricket League. Additionally, we take great pride in our over 40’s team, which competes in the Cheshire County league.

For the young budding cricketers, we offer a comprehensive junior program spanning age groups from under 9 to under 19. Our junior teams participate in both the Cheshire County and Cheshire and High Peak Junior Leagues, providing a platform for skill development and friendly competition. To ensure a solid foundation, we offer coaching sessions for our under 7s and organize friendly matches to enhance their cricketing experience. Junior training nights take place on Thursdays, with specific timings for each age group.

At Woodford CC, we also run two ECB-All Stars Cricket courses in 2024. This initiative is designed to introduce children aged 5-8 to the basic skills of cricket in a fun and interactive manner. To register for these courses, please use the link provided on our website.
