Adyan Hassan

Adyan Hassan was born on 3rd July 1987 in Malta, a place not traditionally known for its cricketing heritage, yet it served as the unlikely starting point for his journey into the world of cricket. From the narrow alleys where he first practised bowling with a taped tennis ball, Adyan’s passion for the game grew exponentially. Little did the local community realise that this island, more accustomed to football and water sports, would foster a talent capable of enthralling the cricketing world.

Adyan's cricketing prowess was evident from a young age. By his teenage years, he had outgrown the local leagues, showcasing an uncanny ability to extract bounce and pace with his right-arm fast deliveries, a rarity on the unyielding Maltese pitches. A move to the UK was inevitable for a broader horizon and, in 2008, he marked his professional debut, quickly making a name for himself as a formidable fast bowler.
