Andrew Graham Salter is a talented cricketer hailing from England who has made a name for himself in the world of cricket.
Born and raised in Pembrokeshire, Salter started his cricketing journey as a promising young offspinner.
He was quickly recognized for his skills and was tipped to fill the boots of the renowned Robert Croft at Glamorgan.

Salter made his Glamorgan 2nd XI debut in 2010 and soon caught the attention of selectors.
He also had the opportunity to represent Wales Minor Counties and Cardiff MCCU.
In 2012, he made his first-class debut for Cardiff MCCU against Somerset at Taunton.
He made his mark in limited-overs cricket as well and became a regular player for Glamorgan's Yorkshire Bank 40 side.

Salter had a remarkable start to his County Championship career in August 2013 when he took a wicket with his first ball, a feat not achieved by a Glamorgan player in over five decades.
This remarkable achievement only happened three times in the club's history, showcasing Salter's potential and talent.

Although Salter struggled to meet expectations with the ball, he showed resourcefulness and determination by working on improving his batting skills.
By the end of 2017, he had made more half-centuries for Glamorgan in the Championship than any other player, earning him the reputation of being an "offspinner-turned-batsman." His cautious style and consistent performances propelled him to second in the county batting averages, highlighting his ability to adapt and excel in different aspects of the game.

While his red-ball game may not have developed as he had hoped, Salter has established himself as a valuable white-ball spinner.
In the 2019 T20 Blast, he topped Glamorgan's wicket-taking charts and often operated in the powerplay, displaying his skills and effectiveness in the shorter format of the game.

Off the field, Salter is known to be a biking enthusiast and is part of the management team of a motorcycle club alongside Welsh international rugby player George North.
This shows his passion for adventure and his ability to balance his various interests alongside his cricketing career.

Salter's journey in cricket has seen its ups and downs, but he continues to be an integral part of Glamorgan's squad.
With determination and perseverance, he strives to make an impact in both red-ball and white-ball cricket.
As he continues to develop his skills and gain experience, fans eagerly await his future contributions to the sport.
