Ashen Dondeenu’s journey to becoming one of the most revered bowlers in contemporary cricket began in the sun-drenched fields of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Born on the 8th of October, 1991, cricket was woven into the fabric of his upbringing. By the time he was ten, his undeniable passion for the sport saw him spending countless hours perfecting his craft at the prestigious St Joseph’s College, which has a long history of producing cricketing talent.

Dondeenu’s ascent in the cricket world was as swift as his deliveries.
