Brighton Chipungu

Born on 11th October 2001, Brighton Chipungu grew up in the cricket-loving nation of Zimbabwe where his talent for the sport was evident from a young age. Raised in a bustling Harare suburb, Brighton's fascination with cricket blossomed on dusty pitches and in spirited backyard games. Encouraged by his family, he joined a local cricket club at the age of 10, where his natural ability as a bowler began to shine through.

Brighton made a significant leap in his career when he was selected to represent his school in a national tournament. His impressive performances there caught the attention of selectors, and soon he was part of the Zimbabwe U-19 team. With an extraordinary ability to swing the ball both ways and extract surprising bounce even on docile surfaces, Chipungu proved to be a valuable asset.
