Carlos Ricardo Brathwaite, born on July 18, 1988, is a prominent cricketer from the West Indies.
Known for his astounding hitting ability and all-round skills, Brathwaite etched his name in the annals of West Indies cricket history by delivering an extraordinary performance in the final over of the 2016 World T20 final against England.
With four consecutive sixes, he propelled the West Indies to victory in a moment that will forever be etched in the memories of cricket fans worldwide.

Brathwaite's journey to international stardom began in 2011 when he made his debut in limited-overs formats.
However, it was his impressive performance during West Indies' Test series in Australia in 2015-16 that ultimately earned him a contract in the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL).
Representing the Delhi Daredevils, Brathwaite proved his mettle by contributing significantly to their success, taking 3 wickets for 23 runs and smashing a quickfire 34 runs off just 10 balls to help secure the second World T20 title for the West Indies.

Blessed with natural talent and a fierce determination, Brathwaite first showcased his potential during his first-class debut against Trinidad & Tobago.
His figures of 7 for 90 made an immediate impact and laid the foundation for a successful career.
Brathwaite continued his impressive performances throughout the season, taking a remarkable 26 wickets in just eight games.
These performances did not go unnoticed, and he was subsequently selected for the Bangladesh tour later that year, making his ODI and T20I debuts.
Unfortunately, Brathwaite had to wait for over three years to receive another opportunity to represent his country.

2015 proved to be a significant year for Brathwaite as he made his comeback to the limited-overs formats during the tour of South Africa.
Shortly after, he made his Test debut during the tough tour of Australia in December 2015.
Despite the West Indies' overall struggles during this period, Brathwaite showcased his talent in his first two Test matches.
In the Boxing Day game in Melbourne, he displayed great composure and resilience, aiding his team with a crucial 59 runs on debut at the number eight position.
In the rain-affected Sydney Test, Brathwaite's explosive knock of 69 runs from just 71 balls added vitality to the West Indies' batting lineup.

The IPL 2016 player auction proved to be a turning point in Brathwaite's career as he unexpectedly garnered a bid of Rs 4.2 crore (US$620,000) from the Delhi Daredevils, a remarkable 14 times his base price.
This auction reaffirmed his rising reputation and added more pressure on the young cricketer.
Yet, when the opportunity arose, Brathwaite did not disappoint, displaying incredible composure and skill to guide West Indies to a sensational victory over England in the final over of the 2016 World T20.
His heroics not only secured the T20 World Cup for his team but also solidified his status as a player to watch closely in the international cricket arena.

Carlos Brathwaite's career graph has been on a constant upward trajectory, instilling hope in West Indies cricket fans and admirers worldwide.
With his unwavering determination, natural talent, and ability to perform under immense pressure, Brathwaite continues to contribute significantly to the success of his team.
As he continues to mesmerize cricket lovers with his powerful strikes and all-round abilities, Carlos Brathwaite's presence on the field ensures that West Indies cricket remains an exhilarating force to be reckoned with.
