Danmika Aththanayaka

Born on 5th February 1981, Danmika Aththanayaka emerged from the lush fields of Kandy, Sri Lanka, with a ball in his hand and a dream as expansive as the skies he bowled under. With a knack for fast-medium pace, Danmika's journey through the labyrinth of Sri Lankan cricket began on dusty school pitches, where his unassuming stature belied the fierce precision of his deliveries. His passion for the game was nurtured in these early years, culminating in an enviable professional debut in Sri Lanka's domestic league at the tender age of 19.
