David Bennet, born on the brink of the New Year in 2003, emerged from the quaint town of Somerset with a cricket bat and ball in his hand, long before he truly understood their significance. As a young lad, his playground was the vast green fields where he would often be found practising furiously, an early sign of his burgeoning talent.
