From a tender age, Ed was seen with a bat in hand, tirelessly honing his skills in his backyard, while his father scoured local leagues for opportunities befitting his child’s growing talent. A prodigal allrounder, Ed made waves early on with his ability to smash world-class pacers to the boundary and his knack for delivering thunderous right-arm-fast-medium deliveries.

His talent was too prodigious to be confined to local clubs, and by the age of 18, Ed found himself thrust into the competitive world of county cricket.
