Fraser Burnett's cricketing journey began in the serene village greens of Surrey, where as a child born on the 20th of December, 1988, his innate love for the game blossomed. The son of a local schoolteacher and a passionate club cricket organiser, Fraser spent his formative years crafting his skills on the lush pitches of southern England. His precocious talent as a left-handed batsman became evident as soon as he was old enough to wield a wooden bat, his eye for the ball and a natural flair for timing drawing the attention of county scouts.

By the age of 16, Burnett was already making waves in Surrey's under-17 squad, leading to his debut for the Surrey Second XI just two years later. His ascent to professional cricket was meteoric and by 2009, he proudly donned the cap for Surrey in the County Championship, marking his entry with a powerful, unbeaten century. Fraser's batting style—characterised by his elegant southpaw strokes and an acute understanding of the field—quickly earned him a reputation as one of the most promising batsmen of his generation.

Throughout his career, Burnett has been a stalwart of the county circuit, becoming a linchpin in Surrey's batting line-up.
