Gaurang Patel, born on 19th January 1991, in the cricket-rich state of Gujarat, India, has carved an exciting niche as a right-arm fast-medium bowler on the international stage. From playing in the bylanes of Ahmedabad, with a tennis ball still scuffed from one too many smacks against the neighbourhood walls, Gaurang's journey to professional cricket was fuelled by an unyielding passion for the game.
