Harjinder Singh’s journey through the ranks of cricket began in the bustling city of Amritsar. Born on 19th November 1999, Harjinder was introduced to cricket in the narrow lanes and vibrant parks of Punjab, where his early talent with both bat and ball quickly drew attention. As a precocious left-hand bat and a left-arm fast-medium bowler, he stood out from a young age, leading his school team to numerous local victories. His performances did not go unnoticed, earning him a spot in the Punjab U-16 team, where he began to refine his skills against tougher opponents.

His professional breakthrough came at the tender age of 19 when he made his debut for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy. It was a memorable start; an all-round display that announced his arrival on the domestic circuit. Not only did he pull off a half-century in testing conditions, but his incisive spell with the ball also swung the match in Punjab's favour. This promising debut was just the beginning.

Harjinder’s career is peppered with standout performances and notable rivalries. In the 2021 Ranji season, he faced stiffer competition and emerged as one of the leading allrounders. It was a gripping match against Karnataka that truly defined him as a player to be reckoned with.
