From the outset, cricket was the rhythmic heartbeat of Harpreet’s childhood. It was on the dusty, makeshift pitches of his local neighbourhood where his journey began—a young boy with a dream larger than life and a palpable hunger for cricket that would ignite his remarkable journey.

Lured by the charm of fast bowling and the art of deceiving batsmen, Harpreet honed his skills through years of relentless practice. By the age of 16, he was already making waves in the district circuit, marked by his adaptiveness and ability to consistently pitch the ball in difficult areas, making life miserable for even the most seasoned batsmen. His versatile bowling skills, capable of swinging the ball both ways while maintaining a deceptive slower delivery, caught the eyes of scouts from the national setup.

Harpreet's professional debut came through the domestic circuit in 2019 when he lined up for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy. A debut that was nothing short of spectacular; Harpreet bagged a five-wicket haul against a formidable Mumbai side—an early indication of the potential he possessed. His rapid rise saw him earn a spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he played for the Rajasthan Royals. In one exceptional IPL season, Harpreet's memorable spell of 4 for 18 against the Chennai Super Kings is still talked about; his dismissal of the legendary MS Dhoni a defining moment that catapulted him into the national conversation.

Beyond domestic accolacy, Singh has been an integral cog in India’s Under-19 World Cup campaign in 2020, where he played a pivotal role in navigating the team to the finals, etching himself on both the domestic and international stage.
