Hesh Abeywickrema

Born on 27th August 1986, Hesh Abeywickrema emerged from the bustling streets of Colombo, Sri Lanka, with a singular passion: cricket. From a young age, Hesh wielded the bat with a grace that belied his years, a prodigy among peers at his local cricket club. Encouraged by his family and coaches, he quickly moved through the ranks, earning a spot in the national youth team. His right-handed batting style, characterized by precision and flair, soon became his calling card.

Hesh’s ascent to the professional level was marked by a debut for the national team at the age of 22, where he instantly made an impression with a half-century against a touring side.
