Kamil Kakar

Kamil Kakar, born on the first day of the new millennium in a small town in Pakistan, was always going to be a cricketer. Growing up in a family that lived and breathed cricket, it was little wonder that Kamil took to the game like a fish to water. His journey began in the lanes of his neighbourhood, where he would spend hours every day honing his skills with a tennis ball against the walls of his local mosque.

His talent was undeniable from an early age. Whisked into the local club's youth team by the age of 12, he transformed games with his instinctive pace and surprising accuracy. Cricket academies soon took notice, leading to a scholarship at a prominent cricket school in Islamabad, where Kamil's raw potential truly started to morph into professional prowess.
