Karthik Pillai

Born on the first day of the new millennium, Karthik Pillai’s journey with cricket has been nothing short of spectacular. A native of Chennai, Karthik was introduced to the game as a young child, spending countless hours on the scorching streets, crafting his skills with a tennis ball. By the age of 10, he had already impressed local coaches with his natural flair and went on to hone his craft at one of Chennai's premier cricket academies.

Quickly rising through the ranks, Karthik made his debut in state-level cricket at the tender age of 17. It was here, with both bat and ball in hand, that he began to forge his reputation as a formidable allrounder. His professional debut came in late 2019, a momentous occasion marked by a stellar performance that saw him contribute a match-winning half-century and an impressive three-wicket haul.

A right-handed batsman known for his aggressive stroke play and tactical acumen, Karthik has an uncanny ability to shift the momentum of a match in a matter of overs.
