Mohammad Saif Hassan, a talented and promising cricketer from Bangladesh, has quickly risen through the ranks to establish himself as a reliable opening batsman.
Known for his compact technique and immense patience at the crease, Saif has caught the attention of selectors with his consistent performances in domestic and representative cricket.

Born on December 1, 1997, Saif Hassan began his cricketing journey in an unusual setting.
His father's work took the family to Saudi Arabia, where Saif developed an early love for the game.
Upon their return to Dhaka, Saif joined a local cricket academy to further enhance his skills.
It was here that his natural talent and exceptional strokeplay started to shine.

From a young age, Saif displayed an extraordinary penchant for staying at the crease for long periods, a trait highly valued in Test cricket.
Coaches at the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) recognized his potential, and Saif made his debut for the national side at the tender age of 21.
His selection came on the back of impressive performances, including a brilliant century against Sri Lanka A and a double-hundred just five days later in the domestic first-class tournament.

Unfortunately, Saif had to delay his international debut due to an injury sustained while taking a stunning catch in the first Test against India.
Nonetheless, he finally made his Test debut in February 2020, against Pakistan in Rawalpindi.
This marked a special moment for Saif, as it fulfilled the prophetic belief of some BCB coaches who had envisioned him partnering with Tamim Iqbal at the top of the batting order since his Under-19 debut in 2015.

Saif's journey to the international stage was not without obstacles, but his unwavering determination and dedication to the sport propelled him forward.
Throughout his junior career, he represented Bangladesh in two Under-19 World Cups, captaining the team in 2018.
It was during this time and in subsequent domestic competitions that Saif began to make significant contributions with the bat.

Notably, Saif's remarkable performance in the 2018-19 Dhaka Premier League saw him amass 814 runs at an impressive average of 62.61.
This outstanding form not only earned him recognition within the domestic ranks but also catapulted him towards the national team.

As Saif continues to forge his path in international cricket, he remains focused on perfecting his skills and contributing meaningfully to his team's success.
With his elegant strokeplay and ability to occupy the crease for extended periods, Saif Hassan is undoubtedly a rising star in Bangladesh cricket.

Cricket enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the future achievements of this talented opening batsman, hoping to witness his continued growth and success as he charts his course in the international arena.
With the support of his teammates, coaching staff, and the cricket-loving people of Bangladesh, Mohammad Saif Hassan has the potential to establish himself as one of the country's most accomplished cricketers.
