Sanjeev Kumar, born on 17th May 1979, emerged from the bustling streets of Mumbai, a city that breathes cricket, to etch his name in the annals of the sport. From his formative years, Sanjeev possessed an unquenchable thirst for the game, often seen emulating his cricketing heroes with a make-shift bat. He began his journey playing in the maidans of Mumbai, where his natural flair and elegant stroke play quickly caught the eye of local coaches.
