Born on the first day of the new millennium, Saran Ravichandran’s cricketing path was anything but ordinary. Making his professional debut in the Ranji Trophy for Tamil Nadu at the tender age of nineteen, Saran impressed with both bat and ball, swiftly becoming a regular feature in the team. His performances in the domestic circuit didn't go unnoticed. He played a crucial role in Tamil Nadu's Ranji triumphs in the early 2020s, where his all-round abilities shone brightly. In one memorable encounter against Mumbai, Saran scored a gritty century and followed it up with a five-wicket haul, single-handedly scripting a comprehensive win.
