Suresh Babu, born on 26th October 1992, began his love affair with cricket on the dusty streets of Chennai. The bustling metropolis, known for its fervent passion for the game, provided the perfect backdrop for Suresh’s burgeoning talent. From the outset, he showed an unusual flair for bowling, often imitating his favourite cricketers under the sweltering sun while his friends swung the bat. His inclusion in the Tamil Nadu Under-19 team marked the first step in his professional journey. He clinched headlines in the 2013 Ranji Trophy, claiming a hat-trick against arch-rivals Karnataka, his deft spin leaving even seasoned batsmen flummoxed.
