Viraj Bhammar

Born on 25 January 1983, Viraj Bhammar’s journey from a cricket-loving child in a small town to a stalwart of the cricketing arena is nothing short of remarkable. His early encounters with cricket were on the dusty streets of his hometown, where he would often be found with a tape-ball, tirelessly practising his batting and wicketkeeping skills. Encouraged by his parents, who recognised their son’s burgeoning talent, Viraj soon began playing for his school team.
