Adrian Paul Kuiper is a former South African cricketer who made a significant impact with his powerful batting and versatile all-round skills. Born on January 12, 1959, in Cape Town, Kuiper became renowned for his explosive hitting and valuable contributions both with the bat and ball.

Kuiper first rose to prominence while playing for Western Province in domestic cricket. It was during a day-night match in 1989 that he showcased his true potential as a big-hitting allrounder. Facing a Rebel English XI, Kuiper showcased his destructive abilities by smashing a blistering knock of 117 runs off just 49 deliveries.
