Ali Azmat is a former Pakistani cricketer who played as a right-arm fast-medium bowler. Born on July 11, 1976, Azmat made his first-class debut in 1995 for his native city Lahore. Throughout his career, he represented various teams including Lahore City, Lahore Division, and Lahore Eagles. Azmat was known for his consistent performances and he particularly excelled in domestic cricket. His impressive career spanned from 1995 to 2003, during which he took 96 wickets in 42 first-class matches and 61 wickets in 47 List A games. After retiring from professional cricket, Azmat has been involved in coaching and mentoring young cricketers.
