Nehra’s first taste of international cricket came during India’s tour of Zimbabwe in 2000-01, where he established himself as one of the most promising new-ball bowlers in the world. However, inconsistency and injuries hindered Nehra’s progress, leading to a decline in his ranking in the pace-bowling department.
