Ammana Ashish Reddy, born on 24th February 1991, is an Indian cricketer known for his exceptional skills as a medium-pace bowling all-rounder. Hailing from Hyderabad, he has represented both his state team and various franchises in the immensely popular Indian Premier League (IPL).
Reddy embarked on his cricketing journey in 2009 when he made his List-A debut, showcasing his talent and potential to the cricketing world. His remarkable performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2012 earned him a well-deserved spot in the Deccan Chargers squad for the IPL. He was unable to secure a spot in the playing XI in 2014 but made a comeback in 2015, featuring in five games for Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was in the same year that he achieved a personal milestone by taking a hat-trick in the first over against Goa in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His exceptional bowling spell contributed significantly to Hyderabad’s qualification for the knockout stages of the tournament.
